THE ABILITY IN THE APPLICATION OF ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE PACKAGE AFFECTING THE SUCCESS OF ACCOUNTING WORK OPERATION

Abstract

This research aims to study 1) the ability to apply accounting software package and the success of accounting work operation, 2) to compare the success of accounting work operation with personal factors, and 3) to propose the ability in the application of accounting software package affecting the success of accounting work operation. The questionnaires are used to collect data from 283 accountants who work in the area of one of the Bangkok Area Revenue Office. The descriptive data include frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The data are also analyzed by using t-test, F-test, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results show that 1) the overall value of success of the accountants is at the highest level. Their ability in applying the accounting software package is at the high level. 2) The differences in age of the accountants have a difference on the success of accounting work operation 3) The ability to apply accounting software package affecting the success of accounting work operation were data security, intra-organization integration, daily recorded, and main data recorded respectively at the significant statistical value of 0.05. These four the ability in the application of accounting software package is able to predict the success of accounting work operation at 61.50 percent
