DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE DRAMA ACTIVITY OF SPAR MODEL FOR ENCOURAGE YOUNG CHILDREN’S ANALYTICAL THINKING

Abstract

The purpose of  research aim to 1) develop the efficiency of learning’s packages with instruction using inquiry cycle (5Es) about the weather of Prathomsuksa 5/2 students of Thaklong 1 School according to the criterion of 80/80, 2) develop the science learning achievement by using learning’s packages with instruction using inquiry cycle (5Es) about the weather of prathomsuksa 5/2 students according to the mastery learning. The research population consisted of 100 students who studying in prathomsuksa 5/2 in the 2 semester of the academic year 2019 of School, Chumchonsampraw District, Udon Thani Province. They were selected by using cluster random sampling. This study was a quasi-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The duration of the experiment was 8 weeks. The research instruments were creative drama activity of SPAR Model lesson plans and the young children’s analytical thinking test with the reliability: classifying at 84, ordering at 81, and summary at 77, The statistics used in this research were mean, standard deviation, and T-test dependent. The result found that young children’s analytical thinking after participation in creative drama activity of S-P-A-R Model was higher than before the experiment in overall and each aspect which were classifying, ordering, and summary with statistically significant at .05 level.
