THE KING’S SCIENCE AND COMMUNITY POWERMENT : CASE STUDY OF BAN THAEN SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY BAN THAEN DISTRICT CHAIYAPHUM

Abstract

The purposes of the research are 1) To study the context of Ban Thaen Subdistrict Municipality Ban Thaen District Chaiyaphom. concerning with King’s science and community powerment. 2) To study its problems 3) To study how to development approach. This is the qualitative research based on written documents, interview with local mamagement, community leaders, Chairman of local community group, villager philosopher total of 20 people and observation. The result revealed that 1) The context of Ban Thaen Subdistrict Municipality Ban Thaen District Chaiyaphom Province. was Creating a holistic network of partners in both the public and private sectors, empowering to solve problems, encourage participation in all dimensions, manage knowledge to cover all skills to leading to the development of Thailand 4.0 . 2) Its problems were lack of support in knowledge management, lack of support for database systems and technology, lacking support in relationships and caring and lacking honesty loyalty to the nation, religion, monarchy, honesty to each other Unity and consideration of common interests leadership and good governance. 3) The processes to development community power should be guidelines for appropriate environmental rehabilitation, adaptation to keep up with the changes a happy, stable prosperous and sustainable existence and guidelines for sufficiency, self-sufficiency, application sufficiency economy philosophy, integration.
