Abstract

The objective of this research was to study Student Affairs Administration of Secondary School under the Educational Service Area Office 39.  The sample group consisted of 50 secondary schools administrators, 50 leaders of student affairs, 50 leaders of lower secondary schools and 50 leaders of upper secondary schools, a total of 200 persons.  The research instrument was questionnaire regarding the status of Student Affairs Administration composed of planning of student affairs administration aspect, administrating of student affairs aspect, promoting and developing of discipline, moral and ethics aspect, operating students support aspect, on democratic promoting in school aspect and on evaluating of student affairs aspect. The statistic used to analyze were average, mean and standard deviation.  It was found that the overall status of Student Affairs Administration of Secondary School under the Educational Service Area Office 39 was at high level. The first rank was on promoting and developing of discipline, moral and ethics aspect was high ( = 4.28), the second was equally for both aspects on planning of student affairs administration and administrating of student affairs were high ( = 4.27), the third was on operating students support was high ( = 4.25), the fourth was on democratic promoting in school was high   ( = 4.18) and the fifth was on  evaluating of student affairs was also at high level  ( = 4.16).
