Design of Learning Media in order to Educates English Language Skill for Early Childhood

Abstract

This research aimed to study1) For the design of learning materials to strengthen early childhood English language skills 2) To create learning materials to strengthen early childhood English language skills 3) To try out learning materials to strengthen early childhood English language skills. The target group was 30 students in the Early Childhood Development Center, Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Research tools includes Early Childhood Experience Plans, Flash Cardsand English Language Skill Assessments.The statistics used for quantitative data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and qualitative data analysis by Content Analysis. The research results were found as follows 1) Design of learning materials to enhance early childhood English language skills. The researcher synthesizes a 5-step process: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.2) Creating learning materials to enhance English language skills for early childhoodfor 4 units, 3 sets per unit and an experience plan for early childhood for 4 unitsthat the researcher created The quality is very good and The English Language Skills Assessment for Early Childhood Assessment Index was 1.00.3) The results of the experiment used learning materials to enhance early childhood English language skills using 4 M techniques consisting of M1: Memory (word recognition) M2: Match (picture-word matching) M3: Mean ( Grouping by Similarity. M4: Mutual (Grouping by Difference) has a good score level ( =  4.32) as 86.65 percentage and when compared to the standard, everyone passed the 80 percent criteria.
