THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE PROCESS SKILL AND PROJECT ABILITY OF PRATHOMSUKSA 5 STUDENTS THROUGH THE USES OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING METHOD

Abstract

The research had the purposes 1) to compare the science achievement before and after using project based learning activities about Force and Motion of Prathomsuksa 5 students, 2) to study science process skills during using project based learning activities of Prathomsuksa 5 students, 3) to study project ability after using project based learning activities of Prathomsuksa 5 students, 4) to study an opinion of Prathomsuksa 5 students about project based learning. Sample group used in this study was Prathomsuksa 5/3  WatbangLuang school  Bang Len, Nakhon Pathom in second semester, academic year 2561 all 31 people  by using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design for 20 hours.  The results of the study were as follows: 1) The posttest score of science achievement tests about Force and Motion for Prathomsuksa 5 students greater than the pretest score at statistical significance level, 2) The result of science process skills assessment form after using project based learning method had the high level. 3) The result of project ability developing during using project based learning method had the higher level. 4) After using method, the evaluation of students’ opinion to project based learning activities had the highest level in the positive way.
