Abstract

This research aims to study participatory academic administration and the comparison of participatory academic administration of Primary School Academic Personnel in Umphang District, Tak Province. The population and samples were 70 teachers who do the academic works from 17 primary schools in Umphang District, Tak Province. Purposive Sampling technique and Nonprobability sampling was adopted in the sample selection process. As the information is important, it must be voluntarily provided the research information by teachers. The results showed that most of the respondents were female, total 48 females representing 68.60%, 34 respondents were age between 31-40 years representing 48.60%, master’s degree graduated 48 people representing 68.60%, and have 11-20 years of teaching experience total 39 people that represent 35.70%. The level of importance of participatory academic administration of Primary School Academic Personnel in Umphang District, Tak Province in overall corresponding to the actual performance at a relatively high level at the mean level of 4.00. When considered each aspect, it was found that in terms of research to improve educational quality of educational institutions, in terms of management of learning resources, and in terms of internal quality assurance represented the mean values of 4.21, 4.14 and 4.10 respectively. The aspect with the lowest mean was the preparation of the educational institution curriculum that the mean value was 3.76. The hypothesis testing found that the differences in gender of the respondents reflected the different levels in the participatory academic administration and the comparison of participatory academic administration of Primary School Academic Personnel in Umphang District, Tak Province.

Kajornatthapol Ponwiritthon, Faculty of Business Administration, Northern College

Dr. Kajornatthapol Pongwiritton, graduated his first Bachelor Degree of Accountancy from Payap University in 2000. With his passion on education, he continued his studies and received another 6 Bachelor Degree (BBA, BPA, and LL.B), 2 Master Degree (MBA) and DBA. in Management SIU,  he was appointed as Associate Professor in Business Research, School of Business Administration by Nobel University, Los Angeles, California, USA. He is currently a full time lecturer in Faculty of Business Administration Northern College.
