Abstract

The purposed of this research was to investigate and to compare the social behavior of children who had experienced creative art activities with Creative activity,scrap material work. The study was designed to compare the social behavior score between before and after the creative art activities. The population used in the study was Kindergarten 2/2 students at Taksin Rachanusorn School. Muang District, Tak Province, total 22 people. The tools used in the study were 1) the social behavior development activity manual using creative activity, crafting and scrap materials, 2) 30 social behavior development experience plans and the indexed social behavior observation questionnaire. Consistency between behavior and purpose and earned the confidence of the observer as .910. The data were analyzed by using mean and standard deviation and dependent t-test. The results were as followings 1) Children who experienced creative arts activities with local natural materials gaince higher scores of social behavior for both overall and lace behavior such as helping, sharing and collaboration with statistical significance at the level of .01. 2) The weekly changing of children’s social behavior score were higher for each week. The creative art activities with local scrap materials effected the score changing every week for both overall and each behavior along those 10 week.
