The Application of Good Governance Principles in the Administration of The Administrative Organization Samut Sakhon Province

Abstract

This Independent research has objectives to: 1)study the problematic conditions and the need for the application of good governance in the administration of the Samut Sakhon Provincial Administrative Organization 2) study the application of good governance in the administration of the Samut Sakhon Provincial Administrative Organization 3.)Study guidance on the application of good governance and principles in the administration of Samut Sakhon Provincial Administrative Organization. This research is considered as a qualitative research. The data collection is undertaken by using an in-depth the 19 key informant. The research results showed that: 1) Problems and the need to implement good governance principles were because of our personnel’s lack of knowledge and understanding of complex laws ,lack of understanding of the regulations, and lack of discipline. Furthermore, lacking good conscience, lacking responsibility towards the duties assigned to them and also lack of awareness regarding the importance of good governance, poor performance by the line supervisor, top-down supervisor, 2) Samut Sakhon Provincial Administrative Organization, as a government agency, has adopted the six principles of good governance so that the administration can respond to the needs and solve their problems in time. 3) Guidelines to make the Samut.Sakhon .Provincial Administrative Organization apply the principles of good governance. To achieve efficiency, the most effective methods are the promotion of morality, ethics, fostering good values, love, unity, and encouraging the personnel to realize the importance of responsibility and good governance
