Factors Affecting Operative Efficiency of Department of Naval Service: A Case Study of a Catering by Service Division, Department of Naval Service

This research has its main objectives to study: 1) operative efficiency of a catering undertaking by government officials in Service Division, Department of Naval Service as compared by the personal factors, 2 the relationship between administrative factors in catering and operative efficiency, and 3) the relationship between motivational factors and operative efficiency in catering of the military servant working at Service Division, Department of Naval Service. This research is considered as a quantitative research. The online questionnaires are used to collect data. The sample size includes 130 government officials. The statistical descriptive data include frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The data were also analyzed by using t-test, F-test, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. The research revealed that: 1) there is no relationship between personal factors of the government officials working at Service Division, Department of Naval Service and the operative efficiency of a catering service, 2) there is a relationship between administrative factors and operative efficiency in a catering service handled by government officials in Service Division, Department of Naval Service at the statistical significant value of 0.000, and 3) there is a relationship between motivational factors and operative efficiency in catering service undertaken by government officials in Service Division, Department of Naval Service at the statistical significant value of 0.000. The said relationship is at moderate level.
