Abstract

The objective of this study was to investigate conditions for school administration according to sufficiency economy philosophy in schools under Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The population was 127 schools under Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample consisted of 97 schools under Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. Key informants were selected from each school (two informants/school). They included a school administrator and a sufficiency economy philosophy-based project responsible person, totaling 194 people.Five-rating scale questionnaire was used as a research instrument with item objective congruence between .80 – 1.00 and reliability of .91. Data were analyzed using statistics, including mean and standard deviation.  The results of this research indicated that 1) overall condition for school administration according to sufficiency economy philosophy in schools under Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was at a high level ( = 4.02). When individual aspects were considered, all aspects were at a high level. An aspect with the highest mean was outcome / success ( = 4.22). An aspect with the lowest aspect was curriculum and learning activities (= 3.78)
