Development Guidelines for Tourism Implies Personal Values in Enhancing the Tourism Value under the Coronavirus Pandemic

Abstract

The objectives of this academic article were to study the personal value and meaningfulness of tourism by using analysis and synthesis from literature and to research the relevance of Thailand and Foreign Country which obtains the important guideline on the tourism development. This beneficial to the government, private organization, academic, community, and tourism entrepreneurs in Thailand which can apply an advantage by the study to be tourism strategic planning; 1) Meaningfulness of Self – Fulfillment, 2) Meaningfulness of Fun and Enjoyment in Life, 3) Meaningfulness of Warm Relationships with Others,
4) Meaningfulness of Security, and 5) Meaningfulness of Self – Respect. To manage the tours by Activity, Program, Navigation, and Management that is according to behavior modification in COVID-19 pandemic and the updated in tourism goals are subject to Meaningfulness Tourism. The major of meaningfulness tourism is having an experience valuable, life increasable and socially valuable. To increase stability, prosperity, and sustainability for Thailand’s tourism industry and economy that it emphasizes the national strategy visions by long-term in national development plan; Thailand can be the tourism destination.
