Abstract

The objective of this study was to study the characteristics of social capital that affect the operation of multi-disciplinary groups and to provide guidance to the community in the development of the multi-disciplinary process. Using qualitative research method. The study area was a multi-disciplinary group of PlakRaet Sub-district, Bang Rakram District Phitsanulok Province As a case study. Data collection by Focus groups discussion, In-depth Interview and Non-participation observations. The sample used in the study included leaders and members of multi-disciplinary groups, communities, community leaders, and other relevant external agencies and using content analysis. The results of the study found that the characteristics of social capital that were important for the development of multidisciplinary groups for the development of spatial disabilities was Social networks, Social participation, Social confidence and group learning and these four attributes drive and improve the workflow of a multi-disciplinary group. and the approach to development and building the role of a network multi-disciplinary for the development of the capacity of persons with disabilities in an integrated area of the local agencies must go through a process of participation in all parties, both at the local and external levels, to achieve the development of the knowledge and skills to work with people with disabilities in a holistic community
