Abstract

The researchers have conducted this research with the objectives in 1) studying the community participation and 2) studying guidelines in the development for community participation of Ban Khlong Tan Community, Nong Khaem Sub-district, Phrom Phiram District, Phitsanulok Province. This research is a quantitative research by having questionnaire distribution for data collection. There are 315 samplings which the size of samplings is set by Taro Yamane’s instant table. After that, the data is taken for statistic descriptive analysis in order to find mean, and standard deviation. The research result demonstrates that most questionnaire respondents are female who are in the age between 51 – 60 years old. They are agriculturists whose highest education level is primary school level. They have been living in the community for more than 20 years and their marital status is married. If we consider the 5 aspects of waste separation, it shows that the aspect of benefit receiver is the aspect that questionnaire respondents have participated the very (= 4.19 S.D. = 0.83). Next are the aspect of practice (= 4.54 S.D. = 0.70), the aspect of knowledge (= 4.52 S.D. = 0.68), the aspect of decision making (= 3.85 S.D. = 0.97), and the aspect of evaluation that has the least participation (= 3.48 S.D. = 1.12), chronologically
