Civil State with Development of Proactive Community Relations Strategies to Promote Safe Communities in Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province

Abstract

The research objectives are as follows. 1) to study and analyze the process of building a safe community through the civil state mechanism; 2) to study and formulate a proactive community relationship strategy by community participation process to develop a safe community model 3) To transfer knowledge to the community, to strengthen the development of a safe community The method of conducting research using a mix methodology method is qualitative research and quantitative research. Quantitative Research by collecting data on the use of questionnaires from personnel and people in the area of ​​30 issues and in-depth interviews of 7 people, namely personnel involved in sub-district administration and Amphawa district. Samut Songkhram Province by collecting information and handing out online questionnaires for 30 people due to the events during the Covid situation Data were analyzed using a packaged program (SPSS of Window) to calculate statistical values ​​such as number and percentage in quantitative research. Analyzing the basic data, the general information questionnaires were gender, age, educational background. The results showed that 1) there were 7 processes for building a safe community, namely 1.1) community relations. 1.2) Safety Community, 1.3) Danger Prevention Community, 1.4) Community Linking Organizations, 1.5) Surveillance Community, 1.6) Safety Survey Community, and 1.7) Community Against Risk Behavior Community, 2) Proactive Community Relations Strategy by Community Participation Process. To develop a safe community model that has a total of 5 strategies. 3) Transfer of knowledge to the community to strengthen the community. safe community development by educating Guidelines for creating safety measures, knowledge of the law.
