Participation of Monks in the Development of Self-Reliant Communities Maharaj District, Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1. To study the level of public opinion 2. To compare public opinion 3. To study the problems, obstacles, and recommendations for monks' participation in the development of self-reliant communities, Maharat District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The research methodology is a combination of methods. during quantitative research It was a survey with a questionnaire which had a confidence value of 0.931 for the sample group, namely the population of Maharat District. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 391 persons and qualitative research with in-depth interviews with 8 key informants Findings were as follows: 1. People have an opinion. Overall, it was at a high level ( = 4.25, S.D. = 0.714) 2. The results of the research hypothesis showed that people of different genders There are no difference. Therefore, it rejects the preset research hypothesis, while people of different ages, levels of education. There are opinions Overall, a statistically significant difference of 0.05 accepts the set research assumptions. 3. Problems Obstacles were found 1) Public relations Therefore, it is not informed. 2) Some people lack knowledge of occupation 3) Monks have no knowledge of development plans, and the agencies that develop them are not clear on community development.
