Factors Affected on Morale and Encouragement for Teacher to Work in School of Nakhonnayok Primary Educational Service Ares Office

The objectives of this research were 1) to study expected factors affecting teachers’ morale for enhancing their job performance under the Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office, 2) to study teachers’ morale for enhancing their job performance under the Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office, and 3) to study factors affecting teachers’ morale for enhancing their job performance under the Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample of this study consisted of 306 civil servant teachers under the Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office, which were obtained by a stratified sampling. A five-rating scale questionnaire was used as a research instrument for data collection. Quantitative data were then analyzed using statistics, including, mean, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results of the research indicated that 1) overall expected factors affecting teachers’ morale for enhancing their job performance under the Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office were at a high level, 2) overall teachers’ morale for enhancing their job performance under the Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office was at a high level, 3) overall factors affecting teachers’ morale were highly correlated with their morale for enhancing their job performance (r = 0.702). Four factors affecting teachers’ morale in their performance included salary and promotion, welfare, relationship with co-workers, and working environment, and policy factors for school administration that could jointly predict 50% of the variation in teachers’ morale for enhancing their job performance.
