Development of Learning Achievement by Using Active Learning On the Buddhist Subject for Grade Six Students

Abstract

This research work which was a kind of Pre-Experimental Research was presented with 3 objectives as follows: 1) To develop the active learning method to be effective along the standard criterion of 80/80. 2) To compare the Learning Achievement of students and 3) To study the satisfaction of students in the 6th grade by Using Active Learning  on the Buddhist Subject. The sampling group of 17 students used in this research work which is selected with specific selection methods was the students in the 6th grade of Primary School of Wat Chorakhay Yai,  Chorakhay Yai Sub-district, Bang Plama District, Suphanburi Province. The tools used in this research work were as follows: 1) The 4 sets of Buddhist subject of active learning about Buddhist sermon 3 and karma. 2) The achievement measurement form of learning. 3) The satisfaction measurement form of students. All of data in this research work analysed with Percentage, Means, Standard Deviation and T-test dependent. The results of the research work were as follows: 1) The result of the pre-test for the Active Learning of Buddhist Subject about Buddhist sermon 3 and karma was effective with the Average Mean process of 78.75 %. Moreover, the result of the post-test was effective with the Average result of 80.08 % along the standard criterion of 80/80 2)Students who were taught with active learning teaching had the achievement after learning higher than before learning with statistical significance at .05. 3) Students were so satisfied with active learning teaching had skills in a very high level with statistical significance at .05.
