Abstract

Local elections are an important component of democracy and are a measure of the quality of democracy at the local level in many dimensions. The results of local elections can represent the response of local residents to policies adopted by local candidates in their campaigns, leading to a shift in the direction of existing local development policies. old to be more in line with the needs of local people Elections are essential to the democratic process in Thailand. especially the efforts to develop democracy at the local level in accordance with the method of decentralization to local government organization As a result, local elections are equivalent to national elections. Therefore, elections at all levels are important, especially local elections because localities are close to the people. People should give importance to the concrete administration of the locality and in order to truly bring benefits back to the local people
