The Development of Online Lesson with Multimedia on Human Body Topic in Science Subject for Grade 8 Students’ Uttaradit School

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1. to develop and measure the effectiveness of using the E1/E2 = 85/85 standard of an online lesson with multimedia on Human Body topic 2. to compare the academic achievement between the experimental group and control group in Human Body Lesson by learning through the online lesson with multimedia 3. to examine the satisfaction of the students who had studied with the online lesson with multimedia. The sample drawn through simple random sampling included 2 classes, with 80 students in Grade 8, Uttaradit School. The experimental group was instructed by using the online lesson with multimedia, and the control group was instructed by using traditional methods. The research tools were the online lesson with multimedia, inquiry approach lesson plans, cognitive test, and satisfaction questionnaire. The findings indicated were as follows. 1) The online lesson with multimedia on Human Body topic in Science subject for Grade 8 students was developed and had an effectiveness of 84.86/85.67 which met the established requirements of 85/85 2) The students’ achievement of Grade 8 students in Human Body by learning through the online lesson with multimedia were different at the 0.05 significantly level. 3) Students’ satisfaction with an online lesson with multimedia on Human Body topic was at the excellence level with the mean of 4.93 and the standard deviation was 0.17
