Development of People's Quality of Life Through the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

The purposes of the research were to: 1) investigate the living in accordance with the sufficiency economy philosophy of people in Phak Hai after the spread of the corona virus epidemic; 2) examine the quality of life of people in Phak Hai after the spread of the corona virus epidemic; 3) compare the living in accordance with the sufficiency economy philosophy of people in Phak Hai after the spread of the corona virus epidemic, categorized by personal factors; and 4) relations between the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the sustainable development of people's quality of life of people in Phak Hai after the spread of the corona virus epidemic, categorized by personal factors. The sample group comprised 345 people living in Phak Hai Municipality, Phak Hai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability level at 0.956 in terms of living in accordance with the sufficiency economy philosophy, and at 0.978 in terms of the quality of life of the same group of people. Statistical analysis was performed in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. and Correlation. The results revealed as follows: 1) Living in accordance with the sufficiency economy philosophy epidemic was at a high level in terms of sufficiency, being reasonable, immunity, knowledge condition, and moral condition. 2) The quality of life epidemic was found at a high level, namely, physical health, mental health, spcial relations, and environment. 3) The comparison of living in accordance with the sufficiency economy philosophy epidemic, categorized by personal factors revealed differently with a statistically significant level at .05. In other words, people with different educational background and monthly income lived their lives in accordance with  the sufficiency economy philosophy differently after the spread of the corona virus epidemic. And 4) The study of the relationship between the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the sustainable development of people's quality of life of people living in Phak Hai Municipality, Phak Hai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, categorized by personal factors did not reveal any difference. In other words, those with different occupation did not have different quality of life after the spread of the corona virus epidemic.
