Abstract

The Research and development of public relations media kits for community tourism the objectives are 1) to study the guideline for tourism among communities in Chumphon province. 2) to design and develop a media kit for community tourism. The researcher used a Research and Development method. The sample was divided into 4 groups: 1 - 20 years old, 21 - 38 years old, 39 - 53 years old, and 54 - 72 years old, living in Chumphon province, 25 people per group. Research tools include questionnaire for Development of a Set Community Tourism Promotion Media and suggestions from experts in 3 areas: 1)The design expert 2)The communication specialist 3)The specialist in tourism and community development to improve and edit the public relations media. The results showed Chumphon Province can be divided into 3 forms These are: Form 1) Tourism activities in natural resources 2) Tourism activities in cultural sites, 3) Tourism activities of special interest. And designing the media into 2 channels: Online media and Offline media. The offline media designed as a hanging calendar media format and online media as a Event Calendar Face book, focusing on key issues; 1) Pictures and information on events and festivals. 2) Information showing the time of festivals and events in Chumphon province. 3) Information showing the date-time range. that is consistent with the community environment. 4) Pictures and information of local recommended products. Issue 5, Convenience in using online-offline media kits.
