Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the influence from professional skills and ethics that affect the success of effective and efficient operations of accountants in Bangkok and vicinity. The sampling was used simple random sampling and collected data by 395 questionnaires. The data were analyzed descriptive statistic as percentage mean and standard deviation. The multiple regression analysis was used for research hypotheses test. The results showed that 1) The professional skills of accountants in Bangkok and vicinity were at a high level (mean = 4.30) 2) The professional ethics of accountants in Bangkok and vicinity were at a high level (mean = 4.28) 3) The Success of effective and effective performance of accountants in Bangkok and vicinity were at a high level (mean = 4.33). The hypothesis testing results showed that Intellectual skills, technical skills, communication skills, organization and business management have a positive influence on operational success statistically significant at 0.01 level of personal skills have a positive influence on the success of effective and efficient operations Professional ethics of professional behavior, transparency, confidentiality, objectivity and independence, Professional Competence and Due Care have a positive influence on the success of effective and efficient operations statistically significant at 0.01 level
