Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the effect of shareholding structure and cash flow on profitability. This research is a quantitative research. Data were collected by using secondary data from financial statements with complete information of 74 companies during the year 2018 - 2020. Data were analyzed by statistical package program using descriptive statistical analysis such as percentage, mean and deviation. Bend the standard to describe the generalization of variables. Correlation coefficient analysis to test the correlation of independent variables. and multiple regression analysis to test research hypotheses. The results showed that Cash flow from operating activities to total assets It has a positive impact on gross margins. Cash flow from operating activities to equity has a negative impact on gross margins. Cash flow from operating activities to total liabilities It had a statistically significant positive impact on net profit margin at 0.05 level and cash flow from operating activities to total assets. It has a positive impact on the return on assets. Minority Shareholder Proportion and family shareholding There was no statistically significant effect on profitability at the 0.05 level.
