Abstract

The Objectives of This Study Were 1) To Study Siri Vichvet’s Singing Principles And 2) To Study Samniang Phasa Songs Singing Method of Siri Vichvet, Both Objectives Were Focus In Rajathiraj Saming Pharam Asa Musical Suite. The Results Show That Siri Vichvet’s Singing Principles Have 2 Main Points, Which Are Consists Of Lyrics Of The Musical Suite And Singing Techniques. 1. The Lyrics Of The Musical Suite, Which Implies 3 Subpoints: 1.1 The Characteristics Of Lyrics In The Rajathiraj Saming Pharam Asa Musical Suite Are Verses And Proses That Imitate Foreign Languages' Sounds. 1.2 The Meaning Of The Lyrics In The Musical Suite Was Sorted Together With The Rajathiraj Saming Pharam Asa Drama. 1.3 The Word Pattern Distribution From The Lyrics Can Be Divided Into 3 Types, Which Are 1) Klon Suphap That Is Grouped By Number Of Syllables Into 3 Groups, A. Klon Suphap With 7 Syllables Has 3 Patterns, B. Klon Suphap With 8 Syllables Has 3 Patterns, And C. Klon Suphap With 9 Syllables Has 1 Pattern. 2) Klon Bod Lakorn That Grouped By Number Of Syllables As 5 Groups, A. Klon Bod Lakorn With 2 Syllables Have 1 Pattern, B. Klon Bod Lakorn With 3 Syllables Have 1 Pattern, C. Klon Bod Lakorn With 6 Syllables Have 1 Pattern, D. Klon Bod Lakorn With 7 Syllables Have 3 Patterns, And E. Klon Bod Lakorn With 9 Syllables Have 1 Pattern. 3) The Imitated Chinese’s Language Sound Proses. 2. Singing Techniques, That Implies In To 3 Subpoints: 2.1 An Emotional Expression While Singing, In Rajathiraj Saming Pharam Asa Musical Suite Found 9 Types Of Emotion Which Are 1) Normal Mood, 2) Indignant, 3) Anxiety, 4) Energetic, 5) Love, 6) Tragic, 7) Anger, 8) Shocked And 9) Happy. 2.2 The “Uean” Technique Can Divided Into 2 Types Which Are 1) Uean Dumnern Tomnong And 2) Uean Toktaang Kamrong. 2.3 Singing Practical Techniques And Styles Found 2 Kinds: 1) Techniques And Styles In Lyrics Which Have “Kan Kran” “Kan Nen Siang” “Kan Prakob Siang” “Kan Klom Siang” “Kan Honn Siang” And “Kan Lak Jangwa”. 2) Techniques And Styles In Melody Found “Kan Kran” “Kan Kratob” “Kan Long Suang” “Kan Honn Siang” “Kan Sabad Siang” “Kan Uean Sam Siang” “Siang Nasik” And “Kan Kaluen Siang” On Another Study Objective, Found That Samniang Phasa Songs Singing Method Of Siri Vichvet In Rajathiraj Saming Pharam Asa Musical Suite In “Mon” Accent Song Used Techniques: “Kan Honn Siang” “Kan Kaluen Siang” and “Kan Long Suang”. For “Phama” Accent Song Used Technique “Kan Chaii Kam-Ner”, And For “Jeen” Accent Song Used High Pitch And Tone Singing Technique. Moreover, This Study Found That Family Context, Music Studies, And Personal Characteristics Were All Affected To Siri Vichvet’s Singing Skills, Especially In "Mon" Accent Songs' Singing Techniques. Including Personal Character That Is Observant, Remembers, And Knows How To Apply All Knowledge To Sing In Many Different Samniang Phasa Songs.
