Information Technology Acceptance on Official Document Management of Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sport

The purposes of this research were 1) to study level of information technology acceptance, 2) to compare information technology acceptance of Department of Tourism personnel according to personal factors, 3) to compare information technology acceptance of Department of Tourism personnel according to operational factors, and 4) to study the relationship between the factors affecting the acceptance of information technology and the acceptance of information technology. Samples of the research were the 191 officers of the Department of Tourism. Sampling techniques were multi-stage sampling, proportional stratified random sampling, and simple random sampling. Questionnaires were employed for data gathering. Data was analyzed by statistical software. Statistics for data analysis were frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation, One Way ANOVA, t-Test, and the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance was set at .05. The results of the research revealed as follows : the samples had high level of information technology acceptance. Hypothesis testing showed as follows : 1) the difference of sex of the samples affected the information technology acceptance at the significant level of .05, 2) age, income, and education of the samples did not affect the information technology acceptance, 3) experience in operating computers and hours of computer use per day of the samples affect the information technology acceptance at the significant level of .05, 4) Received computer training course of the samples did not affect the information technology acceptance, 5) technology performance expectations and executive support related to the information technology acceptance. at the significant level of .05
