Factors Affecting Creative Tourism Promotion in Nakhon Nayok Province

The objectives of this research were to 1) study demographic factors affecting behavior of tourists visiting creative tourism in Nakhon Nayok province, and 2) study demographic factors affecting tourists’ motivation on visiting creative tourism in Nakhon Nayok province. This research was quantitative research design. The questionnaires were used to collect data from 400 tourists visiting creative tourist attractions in Nakhon Nayok province. The statistics used to analyze the data were inferential statistical programs including Chi - Square, T-Test and F-Test. The results of the research revealed that; 1) in terms of tourists’ behavior of visiting creative tourism in Nakhon Nayok, the main purpose of the tourism of 86.75% was recreation, 87.75% traveled by a private car, 46.50% made their excursion with 3-5 companions, 69.50% traveled on the weekend, 43% has visited there more than three times, 51% spent average travel expense at 1,001-2,000 Baht, 41.50% studied information from their friends or other people, 46.75% was satisfied by adventurous activities, 84% was the duplicate travel, and 88% persuaded other people to visit there; 2) the results of hypothesis testing showed that the overall motivation of the tourists was at an average of 4.05; tourist attraction was at 3.98, tourism accessibility was at 4.06, tourism facility was at 3.99 and miscellaneous service was at 4.10. For the factor of accommodation and tourism activity, it found that the tourists got experience from doing activities with local people at an average of 4.14.
