Motivation Effecting the Performance Efficiency of Employees Who Work at Companies Listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand

Abstract

The purpose of this research includes 1) to compare study the personal factors with performance efficiency of employees work at Companies Listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand. And 2) to study influence between motivation factors with affect work efficiency of employees work at Companies Listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand. The sample group is 339 staffs. Perform work while data collected by using a questionnaire. The statistics used in the analysis were percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation, t-test, F-Test (One-Way ANOVA), and Multiple regression analysis at the significant level of 0.05. The results are that 1) The mostly respondents are female, aged 27–31 years amount 90 persons, representing 26.50 percentage. For marital status found mostly single amount 229 persons, representing 67.60 percentage. For education found mostly bachelor’s degrees amount 256 persons, representing 75.50 percentage. For income per month found mostly 20,000–30,000 baht amount 115 persons, representing 33.90 percentage. For working period found mostly more than 9 years amount 87 persons, representing 25.70 percentage, 2) Motivation for working in the sense of overall motivator factors and hygiene factors are in the high level, 3) Overall efficiency of the work performance is in the high level. When each sector is considered, the most efficient sector is the time, followed by the expenditures, the quality, and the amount of works sector, respectively, and 4) Motivation effecting the performance efficiency overall performance the percentage of 66.40 at 0.05 level of significance.
