A Model for Developing Basic Practice of Nursing Skills for Nursing Students with Online Learning (Live Streaming) in Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Epidemic Situation.

This research study aims to develop and study the effectiveness of the model for developing basic practice of nursing skills of nursing students with online learning (Live Streaming) in the situation of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) epidemic. In this research, the sample group was 5 experts and 139 second year nursing students from Boromarajonani Nursing College of Surat Thani. The sample was selected using a specific method. The data were analyzed for means and standard deviations.
The study revealed the following results: 1) The model for developing basic practice of nursing skills of nursing students through online learning (Live Streaming) consists of 7 steps: (1) Determining learning objectives that are consistent with course characteristics (2) Designing learning objectives and content in sub-unit (3) Orientation and assessment of learners' readiness through an online system (4) Learners study content through online learning (Live Streaming) (5) Learners exchange learning gained between learners and learners. and learners with teachers Through the online system (6), learners complete the practice form for basic practice of nursing skills that are set up in class and share in class exchanges. through the online system and (7) assessing students' basic practice of nursing skills and 2) The model for developing basic nursing practice skills was at the most appropriate level ( = 4.79, S.D. = 0.56) and the students' satisfaction was at a high level ( = 4.49, S.D. = 0.16).
