Logistics Factors Affecting Behavior of Tourists Visiting Chiang Rai Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study logistics factors affecting the behavior of tourists in Chiang Rai.  The data collection was from 500 tourists visiting tourist attractions in Chiang Rai using online questionnaires. The results showed that tourists focus on the overall logistics factors at a high level, in which the highest average was a sustainable, financial flow, physical flow, facilities, and information flow factor respectively.

The study showed that the behaviors of tourists traveling to Chiang Rai were mostly their first time, traveling with their partners or spouses, mostly visiting natural attractions, traveling on the recommendation of friends, traveling on holidays, searching for information from social media, and traveling by their cars.

The Physical flow, information flow, facilities, and sustainable factors had a significant relation at 0.05 with tourists’ behaviors while the financial transaction factor had no relation with tourists’ behaviors traveling to Chiang Rai.
