The People Participation in Development of the Community Within Sam Muang Subdistrict Municipality, Lad Bua Luang District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) study the people participation in development of the community within Sam Muang subdistrict municipality, Lad Bua Luang district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. 2) study the people participation guideline in development of the community within Sam Muang subdistrict municipality, Lad Bua Luang district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province categorized personal factors of people. The sample group of this study was 380 people who live in Sam Muang subdistrict municipality area, Lad Bua Luang district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. Tool of this was questionnaire. Statistics for data analysis were frequency, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and f-test. Most people were women, aged between 31 – 45 years old, bachelor’s degree of educational level, 10,001 – 20,000-baht monthly income, married status, living in this area for more than 15 years and they were not the member of the community. The people participation in development of the community within Sam Muang subdistrict municipality, Lad Bua Luang district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province in general was at the highest level. And when analyzing on each aspect found that thought participation aspect, decision-making participation aspect, project implementation participation aspect, and monitoring and evaluation participation aspect were at the high level. The comparison of the people participation in development of the community within Sam Muang subdistrict municipality, Lad Bua Luang district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province categorized personal factors of people found that people with different age, educational level, monthly income, marital status, living duration in the area and role in the community had no difference on the study the people participation in development of the community within Sam Muang subdistrict municipality, Lad Bua Luang district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province in thought participation aspect, decision-making participation aspect, project implementation participation aspect, and monitoring and evaluation participation aspect
