Factors Affecting Efficiency of Work Performance during COVID-19 Pandemic of Military officials of Directorate of Operations

Abstract

This research aims: 1) to study the level of opinion on the factors affecting Work From Home (WFH) and efficiency of work performance during the COVID-19 pandemic of military officials, Directorate of Operations. 2) To investigate the factors in WFH correlated with work performance efficiency during the Covid 19 pandemic of military officials, Directorate of Operations. 3) To find out suggestions, problems, and other difficulties to the affecting performance efficiency during the COVID-19 of military officials, Directorate of Operations. It was the quantitative research. The population was 299 people of military officials, Directorate of Operations. Data were collected using a set of questionnaires. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and statistic used for hypothesis testing were t-test, One-Way ANOVA, Fisher's Least Significant Difference (LSD) and correlation coefficient with a statistically significant difference at 0.05. The results revealed that 1) the level of opinions on the factors of WFH was at a high level and efficiency of work performance during the COVID-19 pandemic of military officials, Directorate of Operations was at a high level. 2) the factors, including knowledge and ability to use technology and the quality of tools and equipment, are correlated with the operational efficiency during the COVID-19 situation of military officials, Directorate of Operations. and 3) problems and difficulties in WFH were related to equipment and technology. The proper equipment was available for the military officials, but they had challenges with the internet network connection while working from home.
