Executives’ Transformational Leadership Affecting Operations According to the Standard of the National Early Childhood Development Center in Rayong Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) investigate the level of the transformational leadership of the executives of the National Early Childhood Development Center in Rayong Province, 2) examine the operations according to the standard of the National Early Childhood Development Center, and 3) study the effects of the transformational leadership on the National Early Childhood Development Center in Rayong Province. This research employed the quantitative research approach. The samples included 337 teachers and caregivers. The instrument used to collect data was a 5-point scale questionnaire. The statistics used in the data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Person Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that 1) the level of the transformational leadership of the executives was at a high level; 2) The operations according to the standard of the National Early Childhood Development Center was at a high level, and 3) the transformational leadership had significantly influenced the operations of the National Early Childhood Development Center with a statistical significance level at 0.05, which yield a positive effect at 89.40% and could be converted to the regression equation as demonstrated below:

Y = 0.667 + 0.373 (X1) + 0.322 (X2) + 0.134 (X3)
