Administration Problems of Electricity System and Underground Cable System between Provincial Electricity Authority and Local Administration Organizations in Thailand Upper Northern Region

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the administration problems of electricity system and underground cable system between Provincial Electricity Authority and Local Administration Organizations in Thailand Upper Northern Region. This mixed method research recruited 69 samples which included 45 chiefs of provincial electricity unit and 24 local administrators in the Upper Northern Region. The qualitative and quantitative data were collected by focus-group discussion and questionnaire respectivley. The results showed that the samples voiced their opinion towards the administration problems of electricity system and underground cable system between Provincial Electricity Authority and Local Administration Organizations in Thailand Upper Northern Region, in overall, at the high level (x̄ =3.50). The individual aspects analysis indicated that the technological problem was rated at the highest level (x̄=4.59), followed by personnel problem (x̄=4.43) and public relations for services (x̄=4.29) respectively.
