Abstract

The objective of this study was to draft the integrated administration strategies of underground cable system for Provincial Electricity Authority and Local Administration Organizations in Thailand Upper Northern. This mixed-method research recruited 69 samples including 45 chiefs of provincial electricity unit and 24 local administrators in Thailand Upper Northern Region. The qualitative data were collected and analyzed by SWOT Analysis while the quantitative data from questionnaire were analyzed to identify internal and external strategic factors for positioning and drafting the integrated administration strategies of underground cable system for the Provincial Electricity Authority and Local Administration Organizations in Thailand Upper Northern Region. The results showed that the draft integrated administration strategies comprised the following:

Advance: Focus on potential and capacity building of personnel in congruent with the directions of organization and surrounding competitive situations.

Maintain: Focus on building relationship with business partners who have experience in electricity plant investment.

Adapt: Focus on building value added of PEA by exploiting the strengths of technology and innovation.

Retreat: Focus on improving/revising law and regulations related to the future business of PEA.
