The Development of Instructional media to Enhance Knowledge in Anatomy of Nervous system for Nursing Students

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) to develop the instructional media to Enhance Knowledge in Anatomy of Nervous system for Nursing Students. 2) to compare learning achievement of Nursing students before and after learning by using the instructional media 3) to study the satisfaction of nursing students after learning via the instructional media. The samples were 30 students in 1st year nursing students, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University. The samples were chosen by purposive sampling method. The research instruments included: 1) A instructional media to enhance knowledge in anatomy of nervous system for nursing students 2) pre-test and post-test for comparison of student's learning achievement with the instructional media and 3) nursing student's satisfaction with the instructional media questionnaire.The statistics used for analysis were percentage, average, standard deviation and t-test.

            The result of this study illustrated that 1) learning achievement of students after learning via the instructional media was statistically significant higher than before at the level of .05 2) the overall satisfaction of nursing students after learning via the instructional media was at the highest level (ð‘ĨĖ…=4.54, S.D.=0.49)

            The findings of this study infer that the instructional media is effective for self review and could be used to prepare nursing student's knowledge before Nursing practice.
