Abstract

This study aimed 1) to study the level of technology leadership of school administrators under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung, 2) to compare the technology leadership of school administrators based on the opinions of teachers under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung classified by educational qualification, work experience, and size of schools, and 3) to gather recommendations on technology leadership of school administrators under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung. The sample included teachers in educational institutions under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung in the academic year 2022. The size was determined from Krejcie & Morgan's table, resulting in 306 through simple sampling and a lottery without replacement. The instrument was the questionnaire developed by the researcher. Statistics used included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and pairwise comparisons using LSD.

The findings were as follows:

  1. Technology leadership of school administrators under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung overall and each aspect was at a high level. When considering each aspect, the use of technology in the evaluation had the highest mean, followed by the ethical use of technology, the use of technology in management, the use of technology in learning management, and technological vision, respectively.
  2. The overall technology leadership of school administrators under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung classified by educational qualification was not different. When considering each aspect, the use of technology in management was different with a statistical significance of .05 level, and the use of technology in the evaluation was different with a statistical significance of .01 Classified by work experience, the overall technology leadership of school administrators under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung was different with a statistical significance of .05 level. When considering each aspect, the ethical use of technology was different with a statistical significance of .05 level. The use of technology in management and the use of technology in the evaluation were different with a statistical significance of .01 level. Classified by size of educational institutions, the overall was different with a statistical significance of .01 level. When considering each aspect, technological vision, the ethical use of technology, the use of technology in management, and the use of technology in the evaluation were different with a statistical significance of .01 level, and the use of technology in learning management was different with a statistical significance of .05 level.
  3. As for teachers' suggestions on technology leadership of school administrators under Office Area Elementary District 2 Phattalung, school administrators should seriously study to gain knowledge related to technology and should act as good role models in using technology along with the provision of technological equipment, facilities, and training to entirely promote the use of technology for teachers, personnel, and students.
