The Knowledge Management in the Dhanarak Asset Development Co., Ltd.

Abstract

This study aimed to address to study knowledge management of Dhanarak Asset Development Co., Ltd. (DAD) to study the DAD's status as a learning organization to study and compare DAD’s knowledge management level classified by personal factors; and to study the relationship between being a learning organization and knowledge management of DAD. This study was quantitative analysis. The sample used in this study were 134 personnel of DAD. A tool employed for collecting data was a questionnaire. Statistical tools used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The assumption was tested using t-Test, One-Way ANOVA analysis of variance and the Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance was set at 0.05. The results showed that (1) the overall knowledge management of DAD was in high level. Comparison of means showed that the max mean score was knowledge acquiring followed by knowledge applying and knowledge storing (2) DAD's status as a learning organization and knowledge management was in high level. The max mean score was leadership followed by learning and knowledge (3) the comparison of knowledge management level showed that there was no difference in knowledge management between ranks. On the other hand, there were differences in knowledge management between genders, ages, education levels, and work experiences at significance level 0.05.  (4) the relationship between learning organizations and opinions towards knowledge management of DAD showed that it was a positive correlation at  significance level 0.05 which is in line with the hypothesis.
