Abstract

This article aims to study realms of Buddhist cosmology in Thai religious literary work. Its name is Bhumivilasinee The result showed that cosmology in Bhumivilasinee referred to the nether world, the corporeal world and ethereal world. These worlds are in 31 realms depending on the height of own soul. Unhappy realms are more unhappy than happy. Unhappy realms consist of hells, demon, monster and animal domains. Happy realms are more happy than unhappy. Happy realms are from the lowest to the highest. They consist of human domain and heavens.
