Abstract

This Research has four purposes. Firstly, to develop the short course learning; Law for social education teachers to law teachers. Secondly, to compare the achievement before and after finishing the course. Finally, to reach the participant's attitude toward the learning management of Law for Social Education Teachers. The sample in this study is three-five social education teachers and senior social education students attending the course. The research instruments consisted of 1) the Law for social education teachers' curriculum and 2) the five learning plans for eighteen hours. The collected research data tools consisted of the learning achievement test, the attitude test, the satisfaction test, and the learning log. The statistics used in the study are mean, standard deviation, t-test, and content analysis. The results found that: 1) the short course learning curriculum of Law for Social Education Teachers, its principles, objectives, learning substances, learning processes, instructional media, and assessments are overall at the best level. 2) the participants' learning achievement in this course is statistically higher at .05 significance. Furthermore, the participants' attitudes toward this course are statistically higher at .05 significance. Satisfaction with the short course was at the highest level. Therefore, the short course learning curriculum of Law for Social Education Teachers that the researcher developed can improve the learning achievement and attitudes towards legal learning of the social education teachers attending the course.
