The Thailand State Railway’s 4.0 Organization Development

Abstract

The purpose of this academic article is to study policies and Guidelines for the development of the State Railway of Thailand towards 4.0 organization. This research study examines the literature that demonstrates that Thailand 4.0 has a concept for propelling the economy through technological innovation and creative problem-solving. In order to adapt to the context associated with these changes, the State Railway of Thailand established a vision that elevates the management and development of human capital to achieve the organization’s goals and support its operation as a provider of connectivity and transportation platforms that meet the needs of its stakeholders. Including having a mission and human capital management strategy (HCMS) in 2023-2027 for business survival ready to take on the challenges ahead by emphasizing the introduction of technology or innovation to create a more efficient organization and workforce
