The Relationship Between Procurement Management and Work Efficiency of Procurement Operators of the Provincial Waterworks Authority Region 9

Abstract

The purpose of this research were 1) to test the relationship between procurement of procurement; parcel control; the examination of parcels and parcel sales with the performance of the parcel operators of the Provincial Waterworks Authority Regional Office 9 and 2) to study problems and solutions for the procurement management of the Provincial Waterworks Authority Regional Office 9. The sample group used in the research, namely the procurement workers of the Provincial Waterworks Authority Regional Office 9, consisting of the branch managers of the Provincial Waterworks Authority 87 procurement supervisors, procurement officers, selected by purposive sampling. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data. The statistics used in data analysis were descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, mean and reference statistics. To test the hypothesis and analyze the correlation coefficient (Pearson Correlation) and Multiple Regression Analysis. Inspecting parcels and distributing parcels there was a positive correlation with the work efficiency of the procurement workers of the Provincial Waterworks Authority Regional Office 9 at the statistical significance level of 0.01. 2) The procurement process may be complex and complicated, resulting in confusion in operations until delays. As a result, the efficiency of the operation decreases. Should increase, emphasize or reduce the burden of procurement work.
