Abstract

This research aims to study 1) the quality of work life level of employees in the Department of Agriculture, Thailand; 2) the comparison of the quality of work life of employees in the Department of Agriculture classified by personal factors;
3) the relationship between quality of work life and organizational climate of employees in the Department of Agriculture. The group sample used for this research was 385 employees of the Department of Agriculture. The data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by statistical software. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, frequency, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The level of statistical significance was set at 0.05. The research findings are as follows: The level of the quality of work life of employees in the Department of Agriculture was high. The hypothesis testing results show that the differences in personal factors, including gender, age, level of education, income per month, and operation period, did not cause any difference in the quality of work life. The organizational climate related to quality of work life had statistical significance of 0.05.
