The Development of Academic Achievement in the Thai Language Using a Literature-Based Approach with Mind Mapping Learning Management for Matthayomsuksa 2 Students

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to compare learning outcomes in Thai subjects before and after learning management using concepts based on literature with learning management using intellectual maps for Mathayomsuksa 2 students. 2) to compare learning achievements in Thai subjects before and after learning management using literature-based concepts together with learning management using intellectual maps For students in grade 2 compared to the criteria of 80 percent 3) to investigate the satisfaction towards learning management. The sample consisted of 22 students in Mathayomsuksa 2, Ban Nam Rin School, semester 2, academic year 2022, which were drawn by simple random sampling. The tools in this research are: the lesson plan, achievement test and satisfaction Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using statistics mean, standard deviation and statistically tested the hypothesis using t-test. 1) The students' learning achievement was higher than before studying at a statistical significance level of 0.05 2) academic achievement was higher than the 80% threshold at a statistical significance level of 0.05 and 3) the satisfaction after learning is at the highest level. The research results explain that learning management of Thai subjects by taking literature as the core and using learning management in conjunction with intellectual maps are able to encourage learners to create knowledge by themselves and help develop the thinking ability of the learners and encourage learners to have higher academic achievement.
