Development of Communication Skills in Presentation of Third Year Students of Early Childhood Education Faculty of Education Thepsatri Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to 1) to develop communication skills for student presentations; 2) to evaluate the results of developing communication skills in presentation of work of academic students. The 3rd year early childhood education is action research. The presentation assessment form was used as a tool for collecting data which studied in the subject of organizing science and mathematics activities for early childhood children in the first semester of the academic year 2022, totaling 55 students obtained by purposive selection method research tools The assessment form consists of 4 aspects: 1) Personality                          2) Compilation of information 3) Fluent and clear language usage and 4) Complete content of the lesson basic statistics for data analysis are mean, standard deviation.

The results of the research found that the development of communication skills in the presentation of the year 3 early childhood education students had the following evaluation results: 1) Personality and information editing had the mean = 64.00, SD = 8.53. 2) In terms of the complete content of the lesson and in terms of using the language fluently and clearly, the mean = 63.00, SD = 8.40 and the total mean in all aspects = 63.50, SD = 8.47
