The objectives of this study are 1) To study the context of operation of Royal Thai Volunteers Doing Good Deeds for Country and People of 21st Signal Battalion, 1st Army Area, 2) To study the results of the project that have already occurred of Royal Thai Volunteers Doing Good Deeds for Country and People of 21st Signal Battalion, 1st Army Area and 3) To present guidelines for the development of volunteer spirit in action of Royal Thai Volunteers Doing Good Deeds for Country and People of 21st Signal Battalion, 1st Army Area. This study is qualitative research. The data were collected from 16 key informants through semi-structured interviews. The research instruments were documentary research and semi-structured interview. The research data were validated using data triangulation. The result revealed that 1) The context of operation of Royal Thai Volunteers Doing Good Deeds for Country and People that supervisors and major operations officer, have performed all types of volunteer work and operators are facilitated, are given training prior to actual work. 2) The results of each operation were successful which affects for people, communities, places, environments, extends and is all related 3) Guidelines for the development of volunteer spirit in action 3.1) There should be frequent volunteer training and extension training for new volunteer members. 3.2) The relevant agencies should have additional public relations from the Bureau of the Royal Household's public relations. 3.3) There should be a rotation of volunteer work for volunteer members. 3.4) Supporting for volunteer must be available at all times while doing volunteer work.
