Abstract

This research aims to 1.To study the decision-making factors for choosing private music schools in the province Songkhla. 2.To study the decision to study in a private music school in Songkhla Province 3.To study factors affecting decision making to study at private music schools in Songkhla Province and 4.To find guidelines for developing private music schools in Songkhla Province. Two sample groups were teachers and parents of private music school in Songkhla of 10 person using structured interviews. 384 students used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data with a predictive variable reliability of .942 and a criterion variable of .966. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean scores, standard deviations and content analysis. The results showed that 1) Factors deciding to study private music schools in Songkhla Province All 4 aspects are at a high level. 2) The overall decision to study private music schools in Songkhla Province All 7 aspects are at a high level. 3) Factors affecting the decision to choose private music schools in Songkhla Province, it was found that cultural factors, social factors, personal factors, and psychological factors. Together, they affected the decision to choose a private music school in Songkhla Province was statistically significant at the .001 level. 4) Guidelines for the development of private music schools in Songkhla Province. Songkhla (1) Teachers and parents should advise on the advantages and disadvantages of music learning. Since music is a study that requires a relatively high budget, family support is important. (2) Parents are therefore responsible for choosing a place for their children. Schools with a reputation for quality must have higher prices. A less well-known school. (3) Private music schools in Songkhla Province should pay attention to price. Due to the current economic conditions of Songkhla province, it is not very good, therefore affecting parents because most parents will give their children to study in the long run and the problem of location is not enough parking.
