Problems and Obstacles OF Security Officers in Performing Duties According to the Security Guard Business Act, B.E. 2558 Case Study Impact Muang Thong Thani

This study objectives were study problems and obstacles of security officers in performing duties according to the security guard business act, B.E. 2558. The population was security company, security officers, employer Impact Muang Thong Thani, central registrar, and the Nonthaburi provincial registrar, total of 13 people. This research used qualitative research, and collecting data by in-depth interviews.
This study found that problems and obstacles of security officers in performing duties of 4 issues: 1) Qualifications and prohibited characteristics, such as nationality, educational qualifications, prohibited characteristics. 2) Security training and training course facilities, such as training costs and standards. 3) Applying for a security business license security personnel and hiring, such as registration period, contract, and cost. 4) Duties according to the security guard business act, B.E. 2558, such as working with the police Assistant administrative officers and security officers do not have identity cards. Solution of 4 issues: 1) No educational qualification to apply for a job as a security guard. 2) Prohibited characteristics for those who have been released from prison from 3 years to 1 year can apply to be licensed security guards. 2) A security company can open a training facility with a number of trainees from 1 or more. Individuals who have been in the military, police, volunteers or have been working as security personnel for 1 year or more receive a 16-hour short course. 4) While waiting for the result of the permission within 60 days, he can perform his duties.
