MANAGEMENT MODEL INTEGRATED WITH UNITY, RECONCILIATION AND RESTORATION FOR THE PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: to study the conceptual framework of administration, develop a management model, and evaluate and verify the management model integrated with unity, reconciliation and restoration for administrators in the public universities. This research was the descriptive research. The samples were 74 public universities. The informants included the public university administrators, lecturers, and staffs, total of 207 respondents. The research instruments were a questionnaire (Reliability =.98)and an evaluation form. All the data, collected via mail in 2019, were then analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, exploratory factor analysis by using statistical package.

            Results of this research revealed that:

The conceptual framework of administration integrated with unity, reconciliation and restoration for the public universities was composed of 4 principle concepts: 1) model concept 2) concept of Public Sector Management Quality Award (PMQA) 3) concept of Unity, Reconciliation and Restoration in Buddhism, and 5) model evaluation concept.

An administrative model was the integrative model or MI-URR MODEL according to the concept of Public Sector Management Quality Award (PMQA) and Unity, Reconciliation and Restoration in Buddhism. It was composed of 6 components: 1) focus on unity, reconciliation and restoration 2) focus on personnel, clients, and stakeholders 3) focus on operation system 4) Leading and organization supervision 5) Results and 6) strategic planning
3. 3. The integrative model mentioned above was evaluated and certified by 17 connoisseurs and qualifiers in 4 issues: accuracy, propriety, feasibility and utility.
