A SCENARIO OF ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION IN PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOL OF PALI EDUCATION IN THE NEXT TWO DECADES (B.E.2562-2581)

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study a scenario of academic administration in
Phrapariyattidhamma School of Pali education in the next two decades. The research
methodology was an Ethnographic Delphi Future Research (EDFR) . The research procedure has
been implemented in three phases; the first phase was future research conducted by Delphi
techniques, the second phase was conducted by future wheel technique, and the third phase
was Cross Impact Analysis of a scenario of academic administration in Phrapariyattidhamma
School of Pali education in the next two decades. The key informants were 21 field experts and
expertise in three related groups consisting of seven Pali academicians, seven Pali head sectors
or Dhamma Studies School of Pali Department administrators, and seven instructors of Dhamma
Studies School of Pali Department, who gave information in eight aspects; public sector
supporting, school administration, curriculum, pedagogy management, instructional media,
measurement and evaluation, learning resource, and educational supervision. The instrument
used for data collection was a five-point Likert’s scale questionnaire. The statistics used for data
analysis were median, mode, inter quartile range, mean, and standard deviationas well as content
analysis was employed for variables matrix correlation.
The results of the research revealed that there were eight aspects of scenario of academic
administration in Phrapariyattidhamma School of Pali education in the next two decades, namely
as follows; (1) public sector supporting for 10 items, (2) school administration for 6 items, (3)
curriculum for 8 items, (4 pedagogy management for 3 items, (5) instructional media for 5 items,
(6) measurement and evaluation for 5 items, (7) learning resources for 5 items, and (8) educational
supervision for 5 items.The cross impactanalysis of a scenario was found at a high level as overall
whereas the cross impact analysis of possibility in the next two decades was found in descending
order as the following aspects; measurement and evaluation, curriculum, learning resources,
instructional media, educational supervision, school administration, pedagogy management, and
public sector supporting respectively.
